Bleu MacAllister is consumed. A horrific childhood incident has caused every decision in her life to revolve around bringing a monster to justice. With years spent studying The Fellowship, an organized crime brotherhood of liars, thieves, and killers, Bleu will rely on her skills as a special agent to cut Thane Breckenridge off at the knees. But walking hand in hand with retribution means risking collateral damage, in the form of Breckenridge’s son Sinclair—until Sin becomes so much more than Bleu bargained for. She’s always known this undertaking would place her life in danger—she never imagined her heart would be as well.

 review

“How does one person live this way without going mad?”

Georgia is feeding into my love of organized crime.  It’s oh so wrong to fall in love with a criminal, but ever since I saw The Godfather I felt a strong pull to the romance of doing wrong for the right reasons. Fighting to protect love, family, and brotherhood at all costs, Georgia has all the key players in her version of an organized crime love affair.

“I strongly suspect you may have a vengeful side that rivals my own.  You’re host to a very dark companion inside your head.”

Sin is an easy choice when it comes wrapped in a package so temping!  Sinclair is everything right with a world that is totally wrong.  He is strong, smart, and attractive.  Bleu, an ex-agent trained to kill, is working to correct her tormented past.  Every single step she has taken has led her to her final sin.  Thou shalt not kill?  For Bleu, this sin will be more than a moment, it will become her life.

“Sinclair is simultaneously all I could want in a man while I despise everything that makes him the person he is.  I’m straddling two worlds.  Love versus hate – and I’m not sure which is stronger.”

Torn between her need for vengeance and her need for love, Bleu finds herself pushed to her limits.  What happens when the only man who understands you is your target? Do you fall or do your fight? For Bleu it may just be both.

Georgia created a strong cast of characters with multiple layers.  Allowing you to become engrossed in a world that is foreign to most, this story will have you have you on the edge of your seat.  The brotherhood is loyal and thick.  Both Sinclair and Bleu will have you captivated.  Honor, pride, vengeance, and love become knotted together in this must read.  I am waiting!  Georgia has laid the ground work for a trilogy that will keep you flipping pages as Sin and Bleu fight for the strongest bond of all… love.

About Georgia Cates

Georgia resides in rural Mississippi with her wonderful husband, Jeff, and their two beautiful daughters. She spent fourteen years as a labor and delivery nurse before she decided to pursue her dream of becoming an author and hasn’t looked back yet.

When she’s not writing, she’s thinking about writing. When she’s being domestic, she’s listening to her iPod and visualizing scenes for her current work in progress. Every story coming from her always has a song to inspire it.
