Such a great read! I was drawn in quickly and I didn’t want to put this book down. The characters were relatable and easy to love. Both Deacon and Carys had solid back stories that allowed them to bond on a deeper level. I’m also a sucker for kids in books and little miss Sunny offered the perfect blend of comedy and melt worthy moments.
There was a lesson to learn with this and Penelope used her platform to inform while she entertained. Bravo! I felt the passion through her words and it made me love the book that much more. A total five star for me as I was happy to see the characters growth through their drama and not just hit with their “issues” at 85% in. This made for a story you could invest in. Definitely grab this one and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
