Bailey Hartwell has many reasons to feel content—her successful business, a close circle of friends, and her steady boyfriend…even if their romance feels staid after ten years without a serious commitment. The only challenge in her life comes in the form of sexy businessman Vaughn Tremaine. She thinks the ex-New Yorker acts superior and that he considers her a small-town nobody. But when Bailey’s blindsided by a betrayal, she’s shocked to discover Vaughn is actually a decent guy.

Vaughn admires Bailey’s free spirit, independence, and loyalty. As his passion for her has grown, his antagonism toward her has only worsened. Every little thing Bailey does seduces him. But when Vaughn’s painful emotional past makes him walk away in fear he will hurt her, it opens an old wound in Bailey, and she uncharacteristically retreats.

Once Vaughn begins to realize he’s made the biggest mistake of his life, he has no choice but to fight like he’s never fought before to convince Bailey that the love they’ve found together only comes around once in a lifetime.

Back at Hart’s Boardwalk with Samantha Young’s newest, Every Little Thing, and I couldn’t be happier.  All things Vaughan all the time! He is all kinds of badass and I love him for it.

The Hart’s Boardwalk Series takes on a slower build than other Samantha Young books. The drama continues to unfold for this simple sea side town and this slow build is killing me, in a good way.  Each book builds on the other as the story continues to unfold. Vaughan and Bailey are addicting.  Both hold an uncomfortable amount of baggage that they attempt to hold at bay, and we all know that never works.  I really just loved Vaughan. He is the perfect alpha male lead and I have no doubt you will fall hard for him as well as the Vaughan/Bailey love affair.

I love everything about a Samantha Young book and Every Little Thing didn’t disappoint.  It was suspenseful, sexy, and endearing.  Each character built a little more of the Hart’s Boardwalk foundation and left you open for more to come.  Not in a cliffhanger type of way.  Each book is a standalone, but why would you only want one?  Samantha has pulled me in once again and I am happy to be along for the ride.
