Up in Smoke, an all-new gritty standalone romance from USA Today bestselling author T.M. Frazier is LIVE!
I’m a man without a conscience.
I deal in murder and mayhem.
I’m the best at what I do.
Frankie Helburn is supposed to be an easy job.
A means to flush her father out of hiding.
Simple.
Except there isn’t anything simple about Frankie or the secrets she’s keeping.
She’s cocaine with legs. I’m addicted before I’ve even had a taste.
I might have her, but I can’t keep her.
But if her father doesn’t show his face, Frankie will be mine.
To KILL.
*Can be read as a standalone.
“This man is a walking billboard for both terror and lust. A human thunderstorm.”
Oh my. Oh my. Holy hell, OH MY. Up in Smoke is all of the things that had me first falling for this series, times ten. I haven’t loved a book this much in a long time. I personally relish a great twisted Stockholm syndrome encounter, and this was beyond expectation. Smoke surpassed my wildest dreams and actually invoked some pretty scorching fantasies. Holy hotness, how I crave the monsters.
Smoke lives in the shadows, and Frankie Hellburn hides in plain sight. This is a breathtakingly exquisite tale about two beautifully broken individuals, with haunting demons and epic chemistry. This is a dark and gritty tale full of angst. The tension and build up was superb, full of exceptionally complex characters and phenomenal story development. It was an action-packed page turner that tortured and put me back together with each word. The sweetener… we get a scene with Bear, King, Smoke, and Preppy. Testosterone OH MY. All of these ‘monsters’ in one room fighting to protect what’s theirs. I can now die a happy woman.
“You’re not carrying me through hell… You’re carrying me out of it.”
