Cassidy James was your average seventeen-year-old girl, and senior in high school. She came from a traditional family with conventional morals and values. She was a friend to everyone, and an enemy to no one.

To me…

Cassidy James was so much more. Her hair flowed down her back like an angel’s would. Her eyes were so beautiful that they matched the color of the sea. Cassidy simply was the epitome of perfection. The only problem was when it came to Cassidy James…

We were just friends.

"A best friend is someone you can trust; they make you laugh, they hold you when you cry... they drive you to the sex shop when you're trying to spice up your marriage."

Becky used to be "the fun one." But after five kids, yes five, and ten years of marriage, she is becoming everything she swore she'd never be; complacent, content and boring in the bedroom. Determined to spice things up her marriage, she leans on the one person besides her husband she can always count on for advice; her best friend Janine.

Outgoing and always outspoken Janine has issues of her own; she is tired of living the single life. After a bitter divorce leaves her struggling to find love again, she's no longer content coming home to an empty apartment, and living vicariously through her best friends love life.
Online dating, confused husbands, and flirting with random porn stars lead to nothing but trouble. Because nothing with these two is easy--and nothing ever goes according to plan.

About M.E. Carter

My name is ME Carter and I have no idea how I ended writing books. I’m more of a story teller (the more exaggerated the better) and I happen to know people who helped me get those stories on paper.
I love reading (read almost 300 books last year), hate working out (but I do it anyway because my trainer makes me), love food (but hate what it does to my butt) and love traveling to non-touristy places most people never see.
I live in Houston with my four kids, Mary, Elizabeth, Carter and Bug, who was just a twinkle in my eye when I came up with my pen name. Yeah, I’ll probably have to pay for his therapy someday for being left out.

About Sara Ney

Retail marketing and advertiser by trade, I am a university club advisor with a passion for creating awkward fictional characters that readers can relate to. That are real. I enjoy writing fast-paced, humorous manuscripts with empowered female characters.

I love: reading, travelling, meeting new people…. latte’s, rainy days, and sweater weather.

I believe everyone has a story to tell: What’s yours?

The sixth book in the internationally bestselling Eagle Elite Series.

*Interconnected Stand Alone*

Twenty-Four hours before we were to be married--I offered to shoot her.

Ten hours before our wedding--I made a mockery of her dying wish.

Five hours before we were going to say our vows--I promised I'd never love her.

One hour before I said I do--I vowed I'd never shed a tear over her death.

But the minute we were pronounced man and wife--I knew.

I'd only use my gun to protect her.

I'd give my life for hers.

I'd cry.

And I would, most definitely, lose my heart, to a dying girl---a girl who by all accounts should have never been mine in the first place.

I always believed the mafia would be my end game--where I'd lose my heart, while it claimed my soul. I could have never imagined. It would be my redemption.

Or the beginning of something beautiful.

The beginning of her.

The end of us.

About Colleen Hoover

Colleen Hoover’s love for writing began in 1985 when she was five years old. Her first story was titled “Mystery Bob” and was a huge hit with her mother, who was really good at faking interest.
Colleen continued to write short stories for friends and family until December of 2011, when she decided to write a long story she titled, “Slammed.” She self-published SLAMMED to Amazon in January, 2012 and it hit the NYT’s bestsellers list in May, 2012. She has since signed with Atria Books, a division of Simon & Schuster, and now has six NYT’s bestsellers. Colleen prefers to be called a writer, as the term “author” still terrifies her and makes this feel like a job with expectations. She doesn’t work well under pressure and hopes writing will always remain fun and exciting.

You can follow Colleen on Instagram and Twitter @colleenhoover. You can also find her on her blog at http://www.colleenhoover.com where she holds a daily book-a-day giveaway, or on her very active Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/authorcolleenhoover where she loves to give away more free stuff when her husband isn’t looking.

Colleen also wants the world to know that writing short biographies in third person is incredibly awkward.
