WORTH THE WAIT!
I have been waiting to get my hands on this book and nothing beats the giddiness I felt when I found out that it was out 5 days earlier than its official release date. Funny cause that day was a day after I published the teaser I made for it! Stupid me! But the response of the author and her followers were still overwhelming so I guess it doesn’t really matter.
The story is about the rekindled first love of Lanie Vance and Noel Falcon.
Lanie has just landed her intern in one of the biggest Marketing firm in New York. As ambitious as she was, Lanie will do everything to keep her dream job at hand. But it was never in her wildest dream that her first ever assignment would mean dealing with an old flame, Noel, the famous lead singer of Black Falcon.
She has not seen him in years, not since the night he broke his heart and told him that his dream of becoming a rockstar will lead him nowhere! Ouch! But fate has its own way of charging its own course. Noel became big! Bigger than she thought he would be and now he is the only key to fulfill her own dreams.
While Lane try to keep everything all business, Noel most certainly not. He is one perfect person who knows her very well and he knows it would only take him much to get her back into her arms. Guess he’s right! After what seems like forever, with all the push and pull, Lanie finally gave into her feelings. I mean, did she really think for one second she can resist him? With all the sexiness oozing from every pore of his body? C’mon Lane, look at him and tell me you don’t want crave for him!
The book is everything you would wish for a romance novel. It has the angst, the steamy scenes, but most definitely it has the heart. You will surely fall in love not just with the main characters, but with the supporting ones as well. If you’re into those sexy rockstar read like I am, well this book should be your bible! Its a one-stop-shop for sexy bodies and “libidinous” rockstars (and yes, that word exists). But don’t tell me I didn’t warn you with the after effects though, coz these guys are definitely the ULTIMATE APHRODISIACS, you will go gaga all through out!
But wait! There’s a plus! The author, Michelle Valentine whom I love with all my heart is so AMAZING! She’s one of those people I feel who has genuine concern and interest to her readers. She most definitely knows what they want and knows how to play with them. So what else could you ask for? You’ve got the best of both worlds…a killer book and a stunning author!
